Instead of a boring old 2b2t clone, I decided to start an anarchy server that will slowly increase by one version number per month until we reach 1.16.

We are starting on Minecraft offical release 1.0

To play version 1.0 do as follows:

Open the Minecraft launcher.

At the top left of the screen select the Installations tab.

At the top right check the Historical box under versions

click New... in the top left

Under the versions drop down scroll down until you see release 1.0

Click Create and then play!

The version that the server is using will always be seen in the MOTD so check there if you can't connect!

The only rule is that there are no rules.
